If you want to find easy exercises to tone stomach muscles then please read this article. There are a large number of exercises to tone stomach muscles that can help you , however in order to take full advantage of them, you need to learn how to perform them the right way.
Exercises to tone stomach muscles can include crunches, they are considered one of the easy exercises to tone your stomach – yet they are hard to do the RIGHT way and that makes a huge difference in the end when you want to see results. They are great as part of any workout and can prepare you if you want to try some other great stomach exercises later in future workouts.
One of the easy exercises to tone your stomach is the Plank. The Plank is a stomach exercise that was made popular by Pilates workouts. This is an isometric exercise, this means that during this exercise your muscles are contracted and you need to hold the contraction for a period of time.
Start by lying on the floor face down and position yourself as you would if you want to start a push-up, next do a push-up with your hands at shoulder level and stay on the top position . You’ll need to hold that position for 30 seconds while keeping your body aligned as a plank.
Many of you will find that it is extremely hard to hold the position for that period of time – even worse considering that you need to repeat the exercise 2 more times! However, don’t despair, these exercises to tone stomach muscles are very effective and worth doing. If you can hold it just for 15 seconds, accept it and start with 3 reps of 15 seconds and over time increase your time. This stomach exercise is great to work the inner abdominal muscles, the ones that give your body its core strength.
Other of the easy exercises to tone your stomach is the “stomach tuck-in”. I first found out about this exercise some years ago when learning about the benefits of yoga. Doing it is very simple, you can do it anywhere. Make sure you practice it daily to tone your stomach muscles and have them hard as rocks! Here’s how to do it:
Start by inhaling air using your stomach, not your chest and slowly let go off the air. When you start running out of air to exhale, start pushing your belly button to your spine, push as hard as you can (you’ll start feeling muscular contraction on the stomach and the sides, this is a sign that you are doing it the right way!) Hold the contraction for 10 seconds (take small gasps of air if needed) and then breathe normally again. Repeat 10 times. This can be practiced anywhere as I said before, but it is better if you find a regular time throughout the day. I personally do it every morning after brushing my teeth.
I hope you find these exercises to tone stomach muscles a useful part of your workout.
